Countdown to Knitmas - Day 5!

Today I want to share with you a little tip for joining yarns. My dad taught me this knot, called the "Fisherman's Knot" and it can be a simple and effective way to join 2 ends of yarn together.

I wouldn't recommend this method of joining yarn for every project or purpose, but it works well in projects that are going to be felted, that aren't going to be blocked and really stretched out, and that aren't going to be going through repeated washings. There are more secure methods of joining yarn, so use your own judgment when you choose which one you will use!
